Making great-tasting coffee at home is an asset to coffee lovers. Some people might wonder how restaurants and cafes brew such high-quality, great-tasting coffee. This article provides insight on coffee making, ensuring that even home users can produce quality brews. Firstly, most restaurants invest in commercial coffee equipment specifically designed to produce high-quantity and high-quality coffee. In order to meet consumer demands, businesses spend more time brewing coffee. Moreover, restaurants brew and blend coffee based on consumer needs, ensuring that all customers receive uniquely tailored coffee.

However, one can easily duplicate restaurant-quality coffee for preparing coffee at home. Opting for the French Press brewing method will enable one to prepare restaurant style coffee at home.

Further, most restaurants that provide high-quality and great-tasting coffee use press pots, which is also called the French Press method. This process of preparing coffee enables even home users to brew high-quality coffee at home. To use a French Press, coffee is steeped for three to four minutes between 195 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit. This coffee making process produces a thicker as well as a much richer tasting brew than the automatic drip coffee brewers.

On the other hand, one can also make delicious coffee with the medium roast quality coffee. Such coffee is used by most restaurants and cafes. There are also other excellent choices like Starbucks Breakfast Blend, Seattle’s Best Breakfast Blend as well as Starbucks Sulawesi Coffee. Although these coffees are full-bodied coffees, however, they are very smooth tasting. These packaged coffee blends work well for French Press brewing.

Another method for preparing high quality and delicious coffee is by manually grinding the coffee beans, and then slightly dripping the coffee through the coffee grounds. However, too fine coffee grounds can produce a bitter taste. On the other hand, if the coffee grounds are too coarse, the brew will taste weak. Therefore, it is very important to opt for a quality coffee grinder that will improve the taste of coffee using the French Press process. Removing the plunger from the press pot and putting one tablespoon of course, ground coffee into the pot ensures great-tasting coffee. The French Press method allows one to control the taste of one’s coffee, allowing the home user to brew coffee according to his or her taste preferences.

Using fresh and filtered water for preparing coffee is also a very important factor to consider. Do not use water that contains chlorine or other minerals, as it can affect the taste of the coffee. Once the water for preparing the coffee has boiled, remove it from the heat for five minutes. Boiling yields 195 to 205 degree Fahrenheit water, which is perfect for coffee brewing. Next, pour the water over the ground coffee. Once this is done, one can serve the coffee in a pot after steeping for three to four minutes. However, make sure the coffee is served immediately, as it will become more bitter and stronger as time passes.

The above-mentioned techniques are some of the best and most unique ways of preparing coffee at home.

Could your business use a juicer? Simply click the blog header to purchase a commercial-grade machine today!

Although Frucosol is a relatively unknown brand in United States, the juicer company has gained immense popularity in Europe. The juicer models manufactured by the company are mainly for commercial use. Therefore, numerous restaurants, hotels as well as food centers use Frucosol juicers. This Spain-based juicer company is fairly new to the commercial juicer market. Frucosol began production and manufacture of their commercial juicer models in 1991. However, within a short time of its conception, Frucosol juicers became popular with consumers and the company expanded.

Today, Frucosol juicer models are available in more than 60 countries around the world. When one looks at the variety of commercial juicer models offered by the company, he or she will come across numerous simple, durable as well as affordable Frucosol machines.

To meet the demands of different consumers, Frucosol offers various juicer sizes. Most of the juicer models offered by the company use citrus fruits like oranges to make juice, as well as other orange-based drinks. There are different models offered by the company. For instance, the smallest Frucosol juicer model is compact yet very powerful. This juicer model looks similar to a small blender. It is capable of processing 10 to 15 pieces of fruits in a minute. Therefore, if one is looking for a juicer for his or her personal use, this can be the best, most appropriate model. In addition to its smaller size, the Frucosol juicer also provides home users a healthy beverage quickly.

On the other hand, there is also a slightly larger model that is able to process up to 25 pieces of fruit per minute. Most of the models offered by the company come equipped with an automatic fruit-feeding feature. The machine is made of high quality stainless steel. Therefore, it is very durable as well as easy to clean. The compact models offered by the company can be placed on countertops or tabletops. Therefore, these models are considered to be best for small businesses or for personal use.

In addition, one can also find larger Frucosol juicers available on the market today. These models resemble mobile freezers, and they have wheels for easy transport. These Frucosol models are also made of 100 percent stainless steel. These large juicer models also come with an adequate storage bucket.

Like the smaller models, larger Frucosol juicers are also capable of processing 20 to 25 pieces of fruits per minute. They also come equipped with an automatic fruit feeder. These self-servicing models function much like soda machines. If one places a cup under the tap of the juice, the machine will automatically crush and dispenses fresh juice. The juicer models offered by Frucosol are recommended for airports, gas stations, hotels, grocery stores as well as other high traffic areas.

Apart from the innovative appearance as well as the technology of Frucosol juicers, they also come with numerous health benefits. For example, fresh fruit is more nutritious than a conventional soda, and juice, unlike soda, boasts numerous essential vitamins and antioxidants.

Whether you prefer decaf coffee or a stronger blend, you can find the ideal coffeemaker for your business, right here! Just click the blog header today!

In the United States, coffee is the most-consumed beverage, second only to water. The beverage’s popularity can be attributed to its taste, smell, and energizing side effects. Caffeinated coffee makes one more alert, increasing one’s heat rate and metabolism, and gives one more energy. However, some coffee drinkers prefer decaffeinated blends. While the taste and aroma of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee is similar, the preparation of coffee beans differs.

Removing caffeine from tea leaves and coffee beans is referred to as decaffeination. Despite this, most decaffeinated beverages, like sodas and coffee, still contain trace amounts of caffeine, ranging from one to two percent. Regarding coffee, numerous decaffeination methods might be used. These include the Swiss water process, the direct method, the indirect method, and the CO2 method. The decaffeination process typically begins with green, unroasted coffee beans, which are steamed. These steamed coffee beans are then rinsed, and this solvent removes the caffeine while retaining the other essential elements in the beans. This process is usually repeated up to 12 times until the decaffeinated coffee beans meet international standards in which 97 percent of the caffeine is removed. Coffee beans contain more than 400 essential chemicals that impact the taste of the beverage; therefore, only removing the caffeine can be challenging.

In 1903, Ludwig Roselius invented the first commercially successful coffee decaffeination process. In this method, coffee beans were steamed in a saltwater mixture, and then the solvent benzene was used to remove the caffeine. Decaf coffee grew in popularity throughout Europe, and finally reached the United States under the brand name Sanka. However, using benzene as a solvent raised numerous health concerns, and safer decaffeination methods developed.

For example, the Swiss water process is one of the most popular ways to attain decaffeinated coffee. In this method, green coffee beans are soaked in hot water, which releases the caffeine. After the caffeine and other elements are extracted in the water, the beans are dispensed of. Next, the water passes through a filter that traps the caffeine, yet allows the other essential chemicals to pass through. The result, referred to as green coffee extract, can now decaffeinate coffee. New, unroasted coffee beans are introduced to the solution. Because the green coffee extract does not contain caffeine, the only caffeine concentration comes from the newly introduced, green beans. This entire solution passes through a carbon filter, and again the caffeine is extracted. This process is repeated numerous times until the coffee beans are 99.9 percent free of caffeine. Finally, the beans are extracted and dried, which retains most of the coffee beans’ original flavor. Although favored by international coffee producers, the Swiss water process is simple enough to be implemented by local farmers.

Another decaffeination method is the direct process. In this method, coffee beans are steamed for 30 minutes. Then, the beans are rinsed with ethyl acetate for approximately 10 hours. The resulting solvent is drained for 10 additional hours to remove any remaining caffeine residue. This process is considered more natural because ethyl acetate can be found in numerous fruits and vegetables.

To purchase a commercial-grade coffeemaker today, click the blog header. For general information on organic coffee, read below.

Coffee is consumed for numerous reasons. For one, the beverage makes one more alert, and is popularly drunk in the morning. In addition, coffee’s smell and taste is appealing. However, coffee does not only wake one up. The beverage also have numerous health advantages, especially when brewed with organic, all-natural coffee grounds.

For one, organic coffee is healthier for one than regular coffee. Once consumed, the brew does not introduce potentially dangerous pesticides or toxins into one’s system. Organic coffee is cultivated without using pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals that might have adverse side effects. For example, studies have shown that some of these chemicals remain in the body for years in fatty cells. Such growth is not only beneficial for the soil and environment, but for one’s system as well. Furthermore, organic coffee simply tastes more flavorful because the taste of the coffee bean is preserved and unaltered. Choosing to consume organic coffee is a health-conscious decision with numerous advantages.

Organic coffee contains numerous antioxidants, which are beneficial to one’s health. Some specialists believe that antioxidants, such as those found in organic coffee, can protect one from certain diseases, like diabetes and even some cancers. In short, antioxidants counteract free radicals, which might result in tissue damage and lead to numerous health problems. Organic coffee also contains minerals, like magnesium, that help to regulate one’s blood sugar. Both decaffeinated and caffeinated organic coffee varieties provide the same health benefits.

Other studies suggest that consuming organic coffee can actually help one to lose weight. By consuming one to two cups of coffee per day, one’s metabolism rises, and drinkers are more likely to drop unwanted pounds. Caffeine in coffee also curbs one’s appetite, and increases energy, allowing one to burn more calories. However, adding cream, sugar, and other additives to organic coffee negates weight loss effects. When consumed alone, organic coffee is approximately only five calories per cup. Despite this, coffee alone is not an effective weight loss regime; eating healthy and exercising regularly is vital for weight loss.

Furthermore, consuming coffee in moderation might also reduce muscle soreness after an intense workout. A 2007 study reported that drinking one to two cups of coffee an hour before training reduced muscle soreness by 48%. By comparison, Aleve only reduced muscle soreness by 30%, and Aspirin reduced soreness by 25%. To reduce muscle pain, caffeine seems more effective than over the counter drugs. Women especially received positive results, in particular those women that do not consume much caffeine regularly.

Coffee grown, labeled, and sold as organic must meet certain guidelines. For instance, the coffee crop must be grown with 95% natural fertilizers, free from pesticides and other chemical, for three consecutive years. In order to protect soil, crop rotation must occur, and the coffee beans cannot be irradiated. To ensure that one purchases organic coffee, one should look for the organic USDA seal. Numerous different organic coffee blends and beans exist, and they are widely available at farmer’s markets, in the grocery store, or online.

At coffeemakersetc.com, you can find all your commercial coffeemaker needs. Click the blog header now!

Second only to water, coffee is the most consumed beverage today. Its allure lies in its taste, smell, and subsequent alertness and increased energy. Today, coffee is grown worldwide, namely in the Caribbean, Latin and South America, and Asia. Although the exact origin of coffee is unknown, all coffee-producing countries can trace their origins to ancient Ethiopia.

For centuries, coffee trees have grown in the Ethiopian highlands. Although the origins of coffee are unclear, the story of Kaldi, the goatherd, might hold some truth. In this legend, Kaldi noticed that after eating berries from certain trees, his goats became excited and could not sleep at night. Intrigued, Kaldi informed the local abbot of his findings. The abbot used the berries in a drink, and remained alert even during long prayer hours. After sharing the drink with the other monks, coffee slowly began to spread to the Arabian Peninsula. Here, coffee began a global migration.

The Arabs were the first peoples to not only cultivate coffee, but to trade the coffee beans as well. By the 15th century, coffee was growing in Arabia, and by the 16th century, the beverage was traded in Egypt, Turkey, and Persia. Some theorize that coffee spread quickly through the Muslim world because, for religious reasons, Muslims do not consume alcohol. Additionally, drinkers probably enjoyed coffee’s stimulating side effects.

Although the Arabs closely guarded coffee production and trade, coffee’s migration was inevitable. Europeans traveling to the Near East discovered the drink. By the 17th century, coffee was not only prevalent in Europe, but was quickly gaining widespread popularity. However, some, like the Vatican, criticized the beverage, considering coffee to be satanic. The controversy grew, and the pope intervened. However, after tasting the brew, the pope found it so satisfying that he approved the drink.

Regardless, coffeehouses became commonplace in major European cities in England, France, and Germany. Much like they had in the Arab world, coffeehouses served as centers for communication, social activity, and even learning. In England, coffeehouses were penned “penny universities” because, for a penny, one could buy a cup of coffee and socialize. In the 1650s, London boasted over 300 coffeehouses. Some were specific to one’s interests and trade. For example, coffeehouses existed for artists, merchants, and brokers.

By the middle of the 17th century, coffee had spread to the Americas via the British. Although coffeehouses became prevalent in New York City, tea continued to be the choice drinks for colonists until the Boston Tea Party and the resultant revolution.

While the Arabs attempted to monopolize coffee cultivation, coffee plantations successfully spread globally, first by the Dutch in Indonesia. Next, the French gained coffee seeds, and 18 million coffee trees thrived on Martinique in just 50 years. From this stock, coffee spread to the Caribbean and Latin and South America.

In about a century, coffee became a thriving cash crop around the world. As missionaries, explorers, and colonists traveled, they introduced the beverage to new locations, popularizing the drink. By the late 18th century, coffee was one of the most valuable export crops.

Because of its popularity, numerous coffee brews are available for both commercial and home use. A brew’s taste largely depends on the brewing method and the coffee beans used in preparation. Organic coffee not only tastes superior to its over-processed counterparts, but some researchers believe that it might also have health benefits as well.

Organic food, including coffee, is defined as those products that limit the amount of synthetic chemicals. In organic coffee, the coffee beans are grown as naturally as possible. This process might include certain organic farming standards, which restrict the amount of fertilizers, pesticides, and harmful chemicals used in the crops.

Organic coffee is considered an environmentally friendly option. For instance, as stated, organic farming limits the amount and kind of synthetic substances added to the soil. Typically, allowable fertilizers include those made by compost or mulch. Such fertilizers are beneficial to the coffee, ensuring a green product. Additionally, such fertilizers are actually healthier for the soil, and sustain health and growth. Organic coffee benefits from the synthetic and chemical free fertilizer absorbed in the soil, which enhances the flavor and taste of the crop.

Organic farming is also closely linked to fair trade practices. In short, fair trade ensures that both national and international organic farmers receive a fair market value for their organic coffee. For farmers in developing countries, fair trade is particularly advantageous because it supports sustainable development. In turn, ethical trading practices encourage consumers to support products marketed under fair trade agreements.

Health risks associated with coffee consumption can oftentimes be attributed to the pesticides used and their remaining residues, not the coffee beans or brews. Organic coffee eliminates such risks because the crop is grown with reduced and limited pesticides and other potentially harmful chemicals. Organic coffee is high in antioxidants, which helps remove potentially dangerous substances in one’s body. Organic coffee also boasts a high vitamin and mineral count. In addition, organic coffee contains pure caffeine, acting as a natural energy booster. Because of its antioxidant and vitamin concentration, organic coffee may even allow one to ward off disease more efficiently due to a stronger immune system.

In addition, shade-grown coffee, especially shade-grown organic coffee, has numerous benefits. In the past, all coffee was grown in the shade. However, as demand for the product increased, farmers were forced to cut down trees to support larger crops. Deforestation has numerous negative effects, including habitat destruction and soil contamination. Organic, shade-grown coffee preserves soil and natural habitats, maintaining forest cover and reducing soil erosion. Shade grown organic coffee has a much superior taste because the coffee beans develop more slowly, with intense flavor concentration.

Finally, organic coffee consumption might contribute to weight loss and other health benefits. Some studies have shown that drinking one to two cups of coffee a day might actually help one lose weight. The caffeine in coffee suppresses one’s appetite and increases one’s energy, causing one to eat less and live a more active lifestyle. Although drinking organic coffee does not ensure weight loss, it is made of natural ingredients—organic coffee and water—and is a healthier alternative.

Historical evidence of the brewing of coffee in England is the Queen’s lane coffee house of Oxford which was erected in 1654. It was three years later that coffee came to France.

The popularization of the American world later in history was a slow movement when compared with that of Europe. This was as a result of the popularity of other alcoholic beverages that have been there before coffee. The Revolutionary War of 1812 played a very vital role in the popularization of coffee in the American world. During this time, the British blocked avenues for the importation of teas to Americans and this led to increased thirst for coffee. With the increase in demand as well improvement the coffee brewing technology, coffee gradually became popular in the American world.

However, the consumption of coffee in Europe later declined and was substituted by the consumption of tea. However, coffee was brought by Gabriel de Clieu to the Martinique in Caribbean which belonged to the French. Surprisingly, the climate favored the survival of the plant. This began the cultivation of coffee in this French territory and it was from there that the Americans got the supply of coffee as it was no longer coming from the British.

Already in 1727, coffee has spread to Brazil but its cultivation in commercial scale actually begun after the independence in 1822. It was there that large scale production of coffee got to the other part of Central America and it became one of the major sources of income in these countries.

Today, the cultivation and exportation of coffee has become a very important cash crop in most of the developing countries like Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Burundi in Africa.

Today, there are different establishments or units where one can buy already prepared coffee. The establishment of coffee houses did not start today. There were evidences of coffee houses in Mecca which later were used for political gatherings of the Imams. In Damascus, the first coffee units was established 1530. There are also a number of such establishment in Cairo, the now capital of Egypt. In the Europe and Britain, there were also coffeehouses that dated back to the medieval age.

In contemporary era, there are also unit where people can drink coffee at a fee. In such units, coffee can be served in different ways. It can be flavoured with dairy products or cream. It can also be sweetened with sugar or taken when it is very cold.

A number of researches have been carried out in recent time in order to find out the health benefits of coffee. Though the consumption of coffee has some negative effects, it has many benefits and this explains why many people are still drinking it today. Frequent consumption of coffee for example can help to reduce the risk of some diseases like Parkinson disease and others.
