When we began our business back in 2001, Bunn Coffee Makers was the first brand we sold. It was the only brand we sold for the first few years. Bunn is the commercial brand everyone knows - their coffee makers and other beverage equipment are the standard for the industry.
In addition to having great coffee makers, Bunn is a very well-run company. Their customer service is knowledgeable and responsive, their technical department is helpful, and they go above and beyond the call of duty in standing behind their products.
Bunn, as an industry leader, has come out with the following sustainability features for their products recently:
(1) They now use lead-free solder in production of their products
(2) They are RoHS Compliant, which means they use no hazardous substances and parts are recyclable whenever possible
(3) LED Lighting is used in product displays when applicable
(4) In packaging, Bunn is using corrugated, biodegradable materials instead of styrofoam when possible
(5) All thermal insulation used in coffee makers and servers is now HFC-free
